2013 Showcase Podium

I working on the current podium. Like the MG 90 set, it was also toughie, because of lot of layers and blending to add. It's a little work-in-progress, I might rearrange the monitor bid screens, I not too sure yet. Plus I didn't add Goodson's asterisks on the bottom of podiums. Google images didn't give me a good results I want, but if you have one, let me know.

Match Game 1990 Set

This was the toughie to do this set, require a lot of shapes and blending, especially red circle lights behind the panel podiums (at the top left and right). I had to use a drop shadow effect to make it like it blending, and because of my PS software only accept one shadow, I have to separate left and right as their own layers and must simplify one of their shadow before doing the next one. Overall, it was worth the finished. 

Match Game Set

More BGs I made, and talk about the coincidence. ABC announced they just picked up another classic game this summer, Match Game. It would be airing along side Celebrity Feud, To Tell the Truth, Pyramid, and yes, 500 Questions. Here are the sets from Rayburn era. I might do 1990 version, and possibly 98 and 2012 Canada version later on.

Showcase Podium Update and More

No new artworks for at least this week, because I'm focusing on making new backgrounds for my future drawings. Notice I made few small changes on Face-Off and Showcase podiums I posted few days ago. It hard to notice it, but if you look closely, I added outlines on light bulbs (for all three pics) and on the 2007 Showcase pic, I lining up those four-point purple stars on the turntable BG (the last pic wasn't even). And also, I just finished up the 2009 Showcase set, I might do 2013 podium later on. And finally, I also working on the beach BG to do beach and bikini pics this summer.You probably not going to see this as the full BG for my future pics, but this is what it going to be look like. I saved this as PSD file, so I could resize the trees or move the sun around. And I also did the palm tree, although I did made one about few years ago, I though I decide to update a new one to keep up the time. That's it for now, have a good night.

Showcase 07 and 08 Podiums

Like I said from the last post, I planning to do more BGs for game shows and stuff to use for my upcoming drawings this summer. I just finished the Price is Right Showcase podiums from 2007 and 08 (Carey's first two seasons). I was also planning to do other podiums from Barker era, but making the lines of Mark Goodson's asterisk trademark could be hard, especially with limited amount of tools I have on PS elements, so probably I might hold on to it for now.

Face-Off Podium

This summer, I want to go back making more Family Feud pics, with second season of Celebrity would be airing in June. I still hanging on family podium file that I did last summer, so I might do more family or teams later on. With top of that, I also wanted to do face-off round, so here what I was working on. It look like done, but it's still little work-in-progress, notice the blue lights on right podium, it suppose to be when one player buzzed in. I wanted to make sure every details is good enough before ready for my first Feud post this summer. I will also be doing more BGs for other game shows and TDI as well in months to come, keep an eye for more.
